READ MORECornelius has won the Castle Point and Rochford District Gymnastics competition. The competition format saw Year 7 and 8 pupils making up the junior team, while those in Years 9,10 and 11 made up the senior squad.

READ MORECornelius Vermuyden students rose to the challenge when asked to build a shoebox for the Samaritans Purse. Students filled 100 shoeboxes to be sent to those in need. An Interhouse competition was held to see who could fill the most boxes.

Outstanding chefs included Alyssa Duffield yr 7, who designed & made a fully personalised burger; presented in bespoke packaging. Luke Barnard yr 7, decided to experimented with ingredients for a beef burger.
READ MOREThe cast of Macbeth performed their production at the Shakespeare Schools Festival held at The Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch on November 9th. The project immersed pupils in the language of William Shakespeare, which was both inspiring and challenging.
READ MOREThe annual Remembrance Service is one of the key events in the life of Canvey Island which bring all sections of our community together in an act of remembrance. Students; Michaela Aubrey, Deputy Head Girl, Taylor Garner, Deputy Head Boy, Darcie Cleaver and William Whitehair from Year 7, represented the school at the Remembrance Service at the Canvey Island Paddocks.
