Cornelius Vermuyden students rose to the challenge when asked to build a shoebox for the Samaritans Purse. Students filled 100 shoeboxes to be sent to those in need. An Interhouse competition was held to see who could fill the most boxes.

Outstanding chefs included Alyssa Duffield yr 7, who designed & made a fully personalised burger; presented in bespoke packaging.
