Pupils from a Canvey school made a splash when they won a district swimming gala. The youngsters from Canvey’s Cornelius Vermuyden secondary school were crowned Year 9 boys district champions.

READ MOREOn 7th April, 21 girls left Canvey behind them in search of some Spanish sun for Cornelius’ first Netball Tour. It was an amazing five days with expert netball coaching, lots of sun, pool times, delicious food and a dolphin spotting.

READ MOREOn 12th May 2014 I attended the English Schools Athletics Competition at Melbourne Park in Chelmsford. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and feel as a team we represented the school exceptionally well.
READ MOREOn Wednesday 21st May 2014 a group of year 7, 8 and 9 girls were selected to go to the Lee Valley Athletics Cup Competition. We all had a really good day and represented the school in a positive manner.
