On 7th April, 21 girls left Canvey behind them in search of some Spanish sun for Cornelius’ first Netball Tour. It was an amazing five days with expert netball coaching, lots of sun, pool times, delicious food and a dolphin spotting. The girls were a credit to the school, most importantly won the tournament against Gibraltar and have gained many more valuable netball skills to bring back to Cornelius.
A Student’s Perspective!
Twenty one girls in the sun can only lead to a good memory. Not only have our netball skills improved but so have the friendships between all twenty one girls. The highlights of the holiday were everyone laughing together, penguin diving, bowling, winning the match, seeing the dolphins and of course shopping. The holiday wouldn’t have been possible without Miss Thomas and Miss Keeble and we appreciate all your efforts massively. Thank you so much although we will not miss the 8am breakfast wake up calls! A holiday never to forget!
