On Saturday 7th June 2014, 3 members of our school participated in the Essex Schools Track and Field Championships: Harvey Burry, Charlie Johnson and me, Cameron Waters. Harvey and I are Year 7 and Charlie is Year 8. Harvey and I did the track events, and Charlie did High Jump. I did the 200M sprint and Harvey competed in the 800M.
It was a very wet day to start off with and as the heavy rain eased off it became very warm and humid. We all enjoyed competing and representing our District (Castle Point and Rochford).
The day went really well and for all of us to get to that standard, we should be very proud.
