In the summer term, our most able Yr7 Art pupils were given a GCSE extended project to complete. This was a very challenging project, where pupils had a number of tasks to independently work through at home. These included taking photographs, analysing art work, recording from primary sources and responding to different artists. This project was a great success and pupils produced some outstanding sketchbooks. Here are photographs of just some of the fantastic work handed in.
All pupils who completed the project were awarded with Art equipment to help support their studies at home. Well done to Charlie Hooper, Leanne Russell, Lilly Bowler, Lilli-Mae Yates and Charlotte Balcombe. We look forward to seeing further extended projects completed in Years 7 and 8 this year.
