As every student, parent and teacher at Cornelius will confirm – Excellent attendance is something to which the school is wholeheartedly committed and encourages all our pupils to aspire to 100%. Therefore the school is particularly proud of not just one, but five, current year 11 students who have not had one single day of absence since joining the school.
All the students (in no particular order!!)– Cerys Wilks, Georgia Thorogood, Liam Rodrigues, Amiee Knight, Hannah Daly admitted to having occasionally when feeling under the weather, thought about taking a day off, but then reconsidered after realising that they would be better in school.
It is this positive, resilient attitude that the school wants to encourage and promote. They are role models for every one of us: a remarkable group of young people who have all, in different ways, made a wonderful contribution to the school and who will undoubtedly go on to emulate this in their future lives. Well done all of them. This really is an achievement to celebrate.
