The Police in Essex recently created a competition to design a Graphic poster that could be placed on Knife Bins around the county. Pupils from secondary school’s around the county were able to submit work , which was judged by a panel of Police officers and local representatives.
As a school, we are very proud of Bethany Philips in Year 9, whose design was chosen by the panel to be the new Graphic branding for the Knife bins across Essex. Her design has now been added to 14 bins around the county.
The bins are part of the Police’s drive to help reduce the number of knives that people have access to. The bins can be used by anyone to dispose of knives, blades etc .A knife amnesty will be launched across Essex once the bins have been installed.
