At Cornelius Vermuyden School we are equally proud of all of our talented individuals. We are delighted to have Mirava Vekaria (7S1) who has recently joined Year 7 who specialises in Bollywood dancing.
Mirava is talented performer whose achievements at such a tender age include performing for the Indian Prime Minister in London, entering Britain’s Got Talent, came 2nd in the ‘Great Big School Dance’ and was awarded 1st Indian soloist in the ‘Teen Star’ competition. We look forward to celebrating more of Mirava’s achievements in the very near future.
Mirava Vekaria year 7
I am a Bollywood dancer. I can do over 10 styles of dance such as whacking, kathack, popping, locking, cramping and many more. I have achieved great things such as being one of the UKs rare kids to reach over Gold at the age of 9, auditioning for BGT and coming through to the grand final as the only soloist in the great big school dance off.
I have recently achieved being the first Bollywood dancer to come through to the grand final of Teenstar. I have just passed my audition for India’s second biggest (I think) competition that will be held in Chicago called the International India Icon. I’m also a great speaker as I came second in the ‘Your Shout’ competition.
