Carol Skewes, Headteacher
December 18, 2017
The Jack Petchey Award Scheme has been running at the school for a number of years. Over the last five years it has been my privilege to be the school’s coordinator; a role that has enabled me to issue the awards to our students and to celebrate their achievements at the annual award ceremony in December.
To date we have had over 200 nominations and a total of 45 winners, each receiving a monetary prize to be used to develop educational resources or experiences.
Students have been nominated for a variety of reasons all under the schools’ mission of Respect, Resilience and Responsibility. We are extremely proud of each of them and wish them continued success in their studies.
The 2016-17 winners are:
Aidan Wickens Yr 11
Rebecca Smith Yr 11
Ty Walker Yr 9
Michael Doran Yr 9
Jack Bush Yr 10
Ferenmi Odeyemi Yr 11
Grace Smith Yr 11
Daisy Knowland Yr 11
Eleanor Stevens Yr 9
All future nominations for the award should be passed on to Mr Hibben.
