Former Pupil Reverend Faye Bailey Returns to Cornelius Vermuyden

October 31, 2016

On Tuesday 18th October, inspirational former pupil Reverend Faye Bailey returned to the school for the first time in twelve years. During her visit, she met with Mrs Skewes (her former Head Teacher) and toured the school.

Reverend Bailey recently completed her training and is the first female priest to serve at her Parish in Chelmsford. She visited former teachers and toured our grounds, spending some time in the memorial garden; this was especially important given that she was at school with students remembered there.

Reverend Bailey is an excellent role model for our pupils and a wonderful representation of the positive values Cornlieus Vermuyden aims to instil in our pupils. We are delighted that she came to see us at the school, and even more thrilled to learn that she would like to come and share her experiences with our pupils at the school at a later date.
