This years District Athletics Competition, once again took place at Melbourne Park Athletics track in Chelmsford. In the run up to this event pupils displayed commitment to training, both in and out of school and to other athletics meets, giving them valuable experience in preparation for the District competition.
Throughout the day we saw some great performances with everyone maximising their potential for the benefit of the team.
The pupils were a credit to the school as their behaviour was impeccable throughout the day. Their encouragement and support of others was a joy to watch and made the PE staff that accompanied them on the day extremely proud.

Out of the 25 finalists Ellie finished 5th and was selected to interview on BBC Essex radio as a representative of the weekend.
