What a treat, at only £3.45, our students were served by the Headteacher, members of the Senior Leadership Team and other staff for their Christmas lunch. The menu, all home cooked included:-
Roast turkey
Pigs in blankets
Roast potatoes
Roast parsnips, carrots and Brussels sprouts
With Yorkshire pudding and turkey gravy
Followed by chocolate fudge cake and cream
(Vegetarian and gluten free options were available)
Over 400 students queued to enter the school dining space, in eager anticipation for their Christmas lunch. Traditional Christmas songs played in the background, party hats were donned, Christmas crackers pulled, cheesy jokes shared and cracker gifts brought laughter.
Lots of fun had by all and the atmosphere was cheerful and lovely.
