Georgia Gonzales, 15, of the Cornelius Vermuyden School on Canvey was a runner up at the Basildon Fashion Awards thanks to her amazing design influenced by the Eighties. The awards evening was held at the Towngate Theatre in Basildon and was the climax of a competition run by South Essex College, partnered with the Eastgate Shopping Centre, Debenhams and the Echo to give budding designers the chance to see their creations on the catwalk.
