Votes For Schools

Votes for Schools gives pupils a meaningful platform to share their views on real‑world issues through weekly lessons and simple yes/no votes. Each week, young people across the UK respond to a topical question, exploring issues such as climate change, technology, equality, and the cost of living.

Pupils’ votes and comments are combined nationally and shared with decision‑makers and changemakers, ensuring that young people’s voices are heard beyond the classroom. Outcomes from national votes have been referenced in the media, policy discussions, and Parliament, with feedback shared with pupils so they can see the impact of their participation.

Through Votes for Schools, pupils develop confidence, critical thinking, and an understanding of how their views can contribute to wider society.
