Administering Medication in School
If your child needs to take medication during the school day, please complete our Medication Administration Request Form and return it to the school office along with the medication.
The school can administer prescribed and non‑prescribed medication (such as paracetamol or antihistamines), as long as it is provided by a parent/carer in its original packaging.
This form helps us ensure that your child’s medication is stored safely, administered correctly, and recorded properly. Staff will check the medication on arrival and label it appropriately.
Please note:
- Children must not carry medication in school (unless pre‑agreed emergency medication).
- Medication must be handed in and collected by a parent/carer.
- The school reserves the right to refuse medication if procedures are not followed.
