By taking part in Number Day 2017, Cornelius Vermuyden School helped the NSPCC raise a total of £1476.
This vital funds will help the NSPCC to protect children and prevent abuse through its projects and services, including Child line – the UK’s free, confidential 24-hour helpline and online service for children and young people – and Speak Out Stay Safe, which sees trained volunteers visiting every primary school in every community across the UK, to talk to children about abuse and where to get help if they need it.
Number day was a brilliant way to raise money for the NSPCC as it allowed us to support a worthwhile cause while having fun with math’s to support children’s education. It was exciting to see the creative ideas our pupils and teachers had in celebrating this year’s event and we are counting down to next year’s event.
