Callum Cuthbert; 11 A*, 1 A and B in Further Maths at GCSE. Cornelius Vermuyden School. A level; A**, 1 A* and 2 A’s at Westcliff Boys…. WOW
We are always keen to find out what happens to our students when they leave Cornelius. Mrs Cuthbert informed us that ;
“Callum went onto Southend Westcliff for Boys and just like Callum to push himself harder he took 4 A levels not just the 3 he needed. He got one A**, one A* and two A's. He is now off to Imperial University in London in two weeks’ time for a 6 year degree in medicine to be a doctor/surgeon with a desire of then going to America.
Maybe one day he could be a key speaker at one of your events. My husband and I would also like to express our gratitude to Cornelius and the teachers too as you have also supported and pushed Callum's ability and willing to learn and we are so glad that we decided to send him to Cornelius for his secondary education and have nothing but praise for the school.
Please let Mrs Skewes that if she wishes to know how he progress please feel free to email me in the future and I will of course let you know how he is doing. Maybe when he graduates in six years’ time I'll send you a photo to use to show that with a good school and hard work you can obtain your dreams and passions. We are so very proud of him”
