Hello there! I am Lucy, the author of the comic in the latest issue of Etc.
The process to making this is quite fun. I use my Wacom drawing tablet to illustrate the comic onto a program similar to photoshop, called Clip Studio Paint (CSP).
I create the panels first, then I sketch out the characters in grey. Next, I create a new layer, inking and colouring the image.
Finally, I place the pre-written script onto the speech bubbles.
