It was fantastic to see in our first Year 7 assembly of the year, how many students have had a family member attend Cornelius Vermuyden School in the past, which truly shows what a local community school we are.
Please can I remind all parent/carers who have younger children, that Cornelius Vermuyden School enters the local authority coordinated admissions procedures. The new secondary school admission round opens on Wednesday, 12 September 2018, for parents of current Year 6 children to apply for a secondary school (Year 7) place for September 2019 at Cornelius Vermuyden School.
The statutory national closing date for applications is 31st October 2018.
Applications can be made online via www.essex.gov.uk/admissions. 98% of parents in Essex applied online last year.
